Bayside Kindergarten & Childcare
Bayside Kindergarten and Childcare is a not-for-profit centre with a rich history (since 1992) of offering care and play-based education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
At Bayside Kindergarten and Childcare, we are passionate about providing children with positive learning tools, spaces and experiences. We work with families to enhance each child’s interest and help develop confidence, communication skills and a lifelong love of learning.
What Our Families Say
Age Groups
Here at Bayside, we provide a curriculum based on the importance of play based learning. Our outdoor environment allows our Educators to encourage the children to connect with nature and the outdoors.
Nursery
Our Nursery is licensed for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years of age. We can have up to 12 babies per day with 2 Diploma Qualified Educators and an Assistant Educator. The babies are very fortunate to have a large, spacious, all natural outdoor environment to utilise.
Toddlers
The Toddler room is licensed for children aged between 15 months and 3 years of age. We strongly encourage peer supported learning here at Bayside and feel this room caters for this well. We have 2 Diploma Qualified Educators and 2 Certificate Three Educators in the room with up to 20 children.
Kindy
Our Kindergarten Room caters for children aged between 3 years and 5 years of age. We have a Bachelor trained Early Childhood Teacher in the room who works 5 days a week delivering the Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program. There is also a Diploma Qualified Educator in the Kindergarten room.
