meeganMeet Meegan

Hi, My name is Meegan and I am the Kindergarten Teacher/Contact Director here at Bayside. I have been in the early year’s education systems for over 18 years and have my Bachelor of Early childhood Education. I believe in providing an age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on a child’s learning journey rather than the end result with a focus on school readiness. I feel it is important for all children to have the opportunity to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. I feel that this allows children to make connections between their prior knowledge and the new information that is introduced.

bevMeet Bev

Hey my name is Bev! I have been working in the early education industry since 1994, I have my Diploma in Children services and I am also a teacher for Learn to Swim.
I have been at Bayside Kindy for over 5 years and I believe that children learn best when surrounded with lots of love, support and fun! I feel passionate about supporting children to become independent learners. I feel that when children are encouraged to ‘have a go’ and are given the time and support to develop independence at mealtimes and in dressing, grooming and toileting it will show greater confidence in their play and learning. Independence also helps your child when settling into new environments such as childcare, Kindergarten and school.
